The series opens with Kang In-gu's life as he juggles multiple jobs to support his family. He travels to Suriname with a friend to buy skate fish, which leads him into the world of drug trafficking when cocaine is discovered hidden inside his shipment. After being arrested, he meets NIS agent Choi Chang-ho, who offers him a deal: cooperate with them to catch Jeon Yo-hwan.
